 | Recent experience includes:
- In 2004/2005 Moore was the lead Lean Six Sigma trainer for a UK insurance company and trained 6 waves of Green Belts as well as 2 Black Belt waves and provided project coaching.
- Moore recently completed a 6 month MBB role for the same Insurance Company. This involved managing a team of Black and Green Belts, project selection and coaching, setting up a toll-gate process, responsibility for project delivery, supporting champions and promoting Lean Six Sigma engagement with the business
- Other recent projects include conducting a Lean Six Sigma programme for a high volume manufacturing company in the UK. Training and hands-on support was delivered to engineering personnel to enable them to identify improvement opportunities, collect and analyse process data and demonstrate measurable benefits.
- At Motorola, Moore was a member of the sector Black Belt Steering Committee. He qualified to deliver Black Belt training courses through Motorola University and he successfully mentored 10 Black and Green Belt candidates through the Motorola process.
- One of Moore’s Black Belt projects at Motorola was to deliver the site’s process sigma goal. The facility was one of the largest electronics assembly installations in Europe with 20+ high volume lines so the project had to engage over 700 people from senior management to production operators. Success was achieved through employing a range of Lean Six Sigma tools including Change Management and Process Mapping as well as Statistical Methods. Process controls were established and new practices were implemented and institutionalized. The site attained best sigma performance in the sector and also was able to report 100% of processes above a CpK of 1.5. This cost saving attributed to this project was $2M.
- Moore has delivered many Black Belt and Green Belt training sessions for companies across the UK and Europe as well as coaching numerous candidates from varied backgrounds and running management workshops. Clients include Johnson & Johnson, Norwich Union, JP Morgan Chase, TRW, Alstom, Royal Bank of Scotland, Bausch & Lomb.
