Value Stream Mapping Workshop

Introduction

Value Stream Mapping (VSM) is a powerful tool for visualising how work flows from end to end across the full sequence of activities needed to deliver a product or service to a customer, helping to identify where value is created and where waste occurs.

Delivered in an interactive, workshop-style, the programme combines practical guidance with facilitated application. You’ll map the current state, analyse the findings and begin designing a future state that supports better, shorter lead times, and improved overall performance.

Course Overview

Participants gain end-to-end visibility of a real value stream to identify waste and constraints, hands-on mapping and analysis experience, and the confidence and capability to design an improved future-state process – earning 16 CPD points along the way. The course covers Lean principles and VSM fundamentals, current- and future-state mapping, facilitation techniques, VA/NVA analysis, and turning insights into a prioritised action plan using approaches like Kaizen, DMAIC and change management to sustain results.
